The yogurt that I eat here not only has a different spelling but has a different consistency. The yogurt that I used to partake of, was basically liquid. It had the consistency of a milkshake and you drank it. I was surprised to find I had to use a spoon to ‘eat’ yogurt. Yoplait is my favorite regular yogurt and Fage Greek yogurt is my greek yogurt.
I bet you are wondering why I have a picture of detergent! It is because I have ten of them. I am pretty sure you can never have enough detergent so when I get them for stock up price, I pretty much stock up.
T is for TEN!
Ten years ago I was working for AIM International Services in the Personnel department, there was never a dull day! I was very married and life was good.
Ten days ago, this time, was Spring break for the kids and we were lazing around (I am paying for it big time with lots of homework to do)
Ten hours ago, I was running 3 miles.
Ten minutes ago, I was wondering what topic to write for this post and the letter T.
S is for Siblings! I love my siblings!
and then there was Abraham and Kay!
Yay, N is for Nairobi, the largest and capital city of Kenya! My family (parents and brother) moved to Nairobi when I was 9 and have lived there for almost two decades! I love Nairobi! Nairobi is the home of 3 million people and walking downtown can be a challenge, but who does not love a challenge? There is plenty of public transportation so you can always get where you wanna go with no problem but with a little hassle! The last time I was in Nairobi was 3 years ago and I bet so much has changed since I was there. I hope to visit very very soon. For some reason, many people have banana trees in their yards (compound as we call them). People keep dogs for security purposes and the tall fences too! If you visit Nairobi and is not able to go for a safari, you can always go to the Nairobi National park (you might see a lion)Mamba village to see the crocodiles, Giraffe Center to see and feed the giraffes and make sure you have dinner at the Carnivore and try the crocodile, so tender and good!
We just came back from Barren River Lake State Park Resort park and they are running an off-season special for $69 a night! You have to call to get the price, I think it was worth it!
Talking of lakes! I think this is the first lake I have been to since moving to the US! Lakes play an important role where I come from. People get their food and drinking water from the lake, people wash their clothes in the lake and people even shower in the lake!
Yours truly carrying some water for showering! I did not have to carry it from the river or lake though because we had trapped some rain water!
