It is actually Craisins & Honey loaf, I have no dates in my pantry, and the bread tasted so good, you do not need any kind of spread on it. I got this easy, simple recipe from this book called “Greatest Ever Baking” and the recipes are delicious.
This makes one loaf, but I double the recipe.
1 tbsp butter for greasing the loaf pan
13/4 white bread flour (I use all purpose flour)
1/2 cup brown bread flour (I use whole wheat flour)
1/2 tsp salt
1 envelope active dry yeast
3/4 cup lukewarm water
3 tbsp sunflower oil (I use canola oil)
3 tbsp honey
1/2 cup chopped pitted dates (I use dried craisins)
2 tbsp sesame seeds

Grease a loaf pan with the butter
Strain? both types of flour into a large mixing bowl, and stir in the salt and dry yeast. Pour in the lukewarm water, sunflower oil, and honey. Bring together to form a dough.
Place the dough on a lightly floured counter and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Knead the dates (craisins) and sesame seeds. Shape the dough and place in the pan.
Cover and stand in a warm place for a further 30 minutes, or until springy to touch
Bake in a preheated oven, 425 degrees F/220 degrees C. When the loaf is cooked, it should sound hollow when tapped.
Let it cool completely.
Serve cut into thick slices

yummy! I’ll link you up.
